Take look at our
Stakeholders
The importance of Stakeholder Engagement cannot be emphasised enough. The overall purpose of Stakeholder Engagement is to drive strategic direction and operational excellence for KTVR Bus Service and to contribute to the kind of sustainable development from which KTVR Bus Service, its stakeholder and the wider society can benefit from.
Using Stakeholder Engagement initiatives, we should be able to identify
and understand:
- The needs, expectations, and perceptions of internal and external stakeholders
- The challenges and opportunities identified by those stakeholders and,
- The material issues affecting both internal and external stakeholders.
Having said this, we had to establish a Stakeholder Engagement Forum managed and resourced by the office of the Public Relations Director. This forum meets once a quarter, drawing in the participation of various stakeholder from Business, Labour movements, Transport industry and Community based organisations.
According to census 2011, the following are the population numbers in the respective areas that makes up the phase one of the IRPTN. This makes up the primary base of passengers likely to use the BRT System to either places of work, school, places of Leisure and general travelling to connect to other modes of transport.
| Area | Population | Households |
| Kempton Park | 171 575 | 53 777 |
